There was no close call for the Lady Red Spikers against the Lady Altas with whopping score differences 25-12, 25-20, 25-23 at the San Andres Complex, last March 10.

The opponents had a quick win, by-passing the ladies in red in all three sets of the game.

Lady Spiker’s gameplay was carried by the rookie Katleya Molina, serving nine points, and Trisha Paras with seven points at the very end of the game.

SBU vs LPU

Once again, the Mendiola-based squad did not dominate the battle off in the court this time with the Lyceum Lady Pirates, falling behind by the scores 25-20, 25-16, 28-26 that took place on the last March 12 in the San Andres Complex.

It was a race to the top, with the Lady Spikers struggling to match their opponents’ step-for-step during the gameplay.

Towards the end of the final set, the Lady Spikers had almost garnered a breakthrough, meeting the Lady Pirates at set point.

Again, Molina alongside Marianne Tayag swept and carried through the team’s battle, who each scored a total of nine points.

SBU vs MU

Things were going smoothly in the first few rounds in the first set; however, the Lady Spikers still fell short in their match against the Mapua Lady Cardinals who dominated them by the scores 25-23, 25-19, 26-24 in the San Andres Complex last 15th of March.

The Lady Cardinals had caught up to the Lady Spikers halfway through the first set and from then on had been topping the remaining two sets.

Furthermore, the Lady Spikers’ rookies, Kleiner Abraham, Chynna Castillo and Molina during this fierce game had fought hard, each serving a total of more than 10 points for the team.

The Lady Stags had trampled over the roaring Lady Red Spiker’s pride in their final game, winning by 25-18, 25-21, 25-20 that took place in the San Andres Complex last March 18.

The Red Spikers played their best in their final match of the season, but still unable to secure the win in the first set against the Lady Stags.

During the final gameplay, it was Paras who had led the offence with a total of eight points.

Despite the losses that the team had faced in the remainder of Season 98, The Lady Spikers still proves to the Bedan Community that there is still more fight in them and that they can redeem themselves for the next incoming games.

Meanwhile, the Red Spikers ended this year’s season placing themselves in the final match between the Altas as they conquered and dominated the step ladder semis elimination round between the teams of Emilio Aguinaldo College (EAC) Generals and Arelleano University (AU) Chiefs.
