Q: After filling up the form, what shall I do next?
We will be reaching out to you via your official SBU email account, so kindly wait for a confirmation email and an instruction about the second process for application.
Q: I have finished the form, does that mean I am already a part of The Bedan?
Not yet, joining The Bedan would require a three-stage process which would be explained once the confirmation email has been emailed on your SBU email account.
Q: When can I expect my confirmation email?
The confirmation email will be sent to your SBU email address at about 2-3 business days.
Q: Am I expected to ready a portfolio based on my preferred line of work?
Not necessarily, however, if you already have a background on your preferred line of work then we suggest for a compilation of your works both published and unpublished.
Q: May I still apply even if I have no background about journalism and writing an article?
Yes, every Bedan student in the College of Arts and Sciences (CAS) is free to apply for their preferred line of work.
Q: I only have interest in cartooning/photography/being a layout/multimedia artist, will I still be required to write an article?
If you did not tick the ‘Writer’ option in the application form, then you will not be writing.
